Pastor, Commodore McCrary
Pastor Commodore C. McCrary is a retired United States Navy veteran and the founder of Greater Gathering Church, established in 2022 in Florida and now located in Greenville, SC. He answered the call of God to become a pastor in 2012 and follows the guidance of his mentor, Apostle Michael A. Freeman, as he embraces his God-ordained mission. Pastor Commodore is passionate about ministering to the whole person—spirit, soul, and body, as referenced in 3 John 1:2.
With over 27 years of active duty and federal service, Pastor Commodore has dedicated his life to serving his country. He graduated from SOMET (School of Ministerial Educational and Training) in 2010 and has mentored hundreds of men throughout his military and ministry careers. He is also the founder of M.A.N.U.P., which stands for "Men Are Necessary Unlocking Potential".
This men's ministry focuses on building men in their faith, family, fitness, finances, and fellowship. M.A.N.U.P. provides essential services and creates opportunities for recreational, educational, and vocational growth not only in the Upstate Region of South Carolina but also around the world.
Pastor Commodore has been married to Tarnesha McCrary (Lady T) for over 25 years, and together they have three young adult children: Elijah, Emmanuel, and Josiah. He looks forward to the day he can become "Big C" to his future grandchildren.
Lady "T" Tarnesha McCrary
Tarnesha McCrary, also known as Lady T, is the wife of Pastor Commodore C. McCrary, the Senior Pastor of Greater Gathering Church in Greenville, SC. Lady T has been serving the Lord since the age of 21 and has always had a passion for teaching others.
Committed to God's will for her life, she has devoted herself to a life of service. Anointed as a teacher of the living Word of God, Lady T is dedicated to seeing souls saved and lives transformed for the glory of God.
She is particularly passionate about empowering women to live out the Word of God in every aspect of their lives. Lady T earned her Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University and also attended the School of Ministerial Education and Training (SOMET).
Additionally, she is a Licensed Realtor and an entrepreneur, owning The Right Start Staffing Agency, which operates in multiple states. Lady T is the proud mother of three young adult sons: Elijah, Emmanuel, and Josiah, who she considers her greatest blessings.
